Mr. Prof. Leo Peter Exner was born 1956 in Vienna. He
spent many years of his professional career abroad,
above all in the Far East, Middle East and Africa as
well as Central Eastern Europe. Several years of his
career he held positions on Board level in the
Industry (Salzburger Aluminium AG; Sales € 400 Mio, 1.200 Employees), Insurance
(Member of the Board
of Gothaer Insurance AG in
Vienna and CEO of Gothaer Credit Insurance AG in
Vienna), as well as in the Real Estate Business (Member
of the Board of Raiffeisen Centro Bank Property
Holding AG; Managing Director of CPB CEE Consulting
GmbH, Vienna).
He has been member of various Advisory and Supervisory Boards (e.g. Hauck & Aufhaeuser Corporate Finance AG, Frankfurt), and since 1999 until 2012 he has been President of Creditreform Austria. Due to his business relationship with Japan he was appointed Honorary Consul General of Japan for Austria in 2005. Besides that he holds memberships in various corporations, he is a member e.g. of the Federation of Austrian Industries and he has been CEO of Hauck & Aufhäuser Privatbankiers (Austria).
